Perfect for the autumn outing season, this large tote bag will definitely come in handy. The featured fabric is from the mosotto series designed by the illustrator, Masato Adachi. The animals acting silly are printed with lively movements associated with verbs as a concept. The sample bag uses the Riding design. The joyous animals making a move on busses, airplanes and unicycles will make perfect companions for your travel!

We interviewed Yui about her creation:
Kokka Fabric (KF): What did you think of the fabric you used for this project?
In order to complement the warm and fuzzy feel of the animals, I created a casual tote bag with rounded look.
KF: Can you tell us any special elements or ideas that you incorporated into this creation?
The bottom corner is rounded, and adding tucks help it to be more three dimensional. The outer fabric with quilt batting makes the bag stronger yet with some softness.
KF: What are some tips for making this bag?
Please make sure that fabric transitions as well as the tucks are in alignment. For a clean finish of the tucks, press them down to the alternate directions.
KF: How should we use this bag in everyday situations?
It can carry a lot of things. I am sure you will find it useful for your autumn outings.
KF: Thank you very much, Yui! Here are sewing instructions along with step by step photos from her. Enjoy crafting!
