This eye-catching large one-handle bag is accented with a front bow. The look of the bag changes depending on how the bow is tied. The fabric used for this bag is a special pattern to commemorate the 20th anniversary of echino. It is a unique fabric with a collection of past and present echino pattern squares placed in a patchwork style. The textured cotton linen canvas is ideal for making bags as well as pouches, general goods and aprons.

ワンハンドルバッグの作り方
1.
Make the handle and six ribbons. Fold one short end of the ribbon fabric for 1cm. Fold the long end for 1cm and fold in half. Apply stitches along the edge.
2.
Mark the ribbon attachment position.
3.
Baste the unfolded short end of the ribbon to the body outer fabric.
4.
With the front sides facing each other, sew together the body and gusset.
5.
Make sure the corners of the stitch lines are all in alignment.
6.
Press down the seam to the gusset (patterned) side and apply stitches from the front. Repeat the same process on the back side and make a tube (ribbons not included).
7.
With the front sides facing each other, sew together the bottom and gusset.
8.
With the front sides facing each other, baste the handles.
9.
Make the lining bag using the same process. Press down the seam of the sewn body and gusset to the body (patterned) side. Make an opening for turning on the bottom fabric.
10.
With the front sides facing each other, place the outer bag into the lining bag. Sew all the way around at the top opening. Turn the bag inside out and close the opening for turning. Align the shape and tie a bow to finish.
