This tote bag is quite convenient. With a double zipper top, you can easily place items in and out. The fabric used for this bag is from the “PICNIC” series. Being water-repellent, it is safe to use even on rainy days. It is an easy to sew 100% cotton oxford fabric.

Materials:
- Fabric: (Panel, Bottom, Handle, Pocket, Facing): 110cm wide × 80cm
- Fabric: (Edge Fabric (Artificial Leather)): 10cm × 10cm
- Double Slide Zipper: 50cm (one piece)
- Piping Tape: 14cm
- Rivet: 0.6cm diameter x Four pairs
Size: 31.5cm (l) 40cm (w) 12cm (d)
Instructions
1.
Cut the fabric and prepare the materials.
2.
Fold the handle, and sew both sides to make it 3cm wide.
3.
Attach the piping tape at the top opening of the pocket front side. With the front sides facing each other, sew together with the facing.
4.
Turn it inside out. Fold and align to cleanly show the piping. Apply stitches from the front side.
5.
Place the pocket on the body fabric and hold it with a masking tape. Place the handles over the pocket, hold them with the masking tape, and stitch along the red dotted line. Repeat the same process on the other side.
6.
With the front sides facing each other, sew together the body and bottom fabrics.
7.
Sew the front fabric, bottom fabric, and back fabric together in that order. Press down the seam to the bottom side and apply stitches to hold the fabrics.
8.
With the front sides facing each other, fold in half. Fold the bottom and sew both sides. Apply zigzag stitches on the seam of both sides.
9.
Fold the top opening in three and apply stitches. Turn the bag inside out and align the shape.
※ The bottom gusset is an inwardly folded gusset
10.
Sew on the artificial leather to the ends of the double slide zipper and attach the rivet.
11.
Align the center of the bag body and zipper. Sew together the pieces with the zipper open to complete!
