Facial Tissue Case – Free Sewing Tutorial
This portable tissue case is a must-have for spring allergy season. It allows you to refill it with tissues from a box and carry them around. The fabric used for this case is [tone], a new pattern from the yui series. It features a light, airy design with colorful flowers scattered across the fabric like musical notes. The cotton-linen blend fabric is easy to sew and is highly suitable for making small accessories.

Tissue Box Case - Sewing Instructions
-

Cut the fabric and prepare materials.
-

Fold the opening of the pocket fabric toward the lining side into a triple fold (1–2 cm) and sew two rows of stitches.
-

After sewing the opening, fold the bottom three sides for 0.5 cm toward the lining side.
-

Fold the left and right sides of the main body (the openings where you insert and remove tissues) into thirds (0.5cm –1 cm) and apply stitches.
-

Sew on the pocket you made in step 3.
-

With the front sides facing each other, fold the fabric toward the center of the piece, as shown in the image. Overlap the edges of the opening by about 1 cm, then sew along the top and bottom edges, 0.5 cm from the edge.
-

Turn the fabric inside side out and align the shape, then sew a stitch at 0.7 cm from the top and bottom edges. *This stitch will hide the 0.5 cm seam allowance sewn in Step 6.
-

Attach the artificial leather flap and tab using rivets.
-

Add the snaps, and finished!
