Kokka Fabric (KF): What did you think of the fabric you used for this project?
The distinct color and large motifs are unique and stylish. I came up with a unique triangular Boston bag, featuring the bird design as a focal point.
KF: Can you tell us any special elements or ideas that you incorporated into this creation?
Since the overall size of the triangle becomes smaller than a square bag, I allowed for an ample gusset so that the bag becomes more practical in size. This distinct bag is self-standing Boston shaped, making it convenient.
KF: What are some tips for making this bag?
When sewing together the fabric transitions, make sure to use clips or baste the pieces to avoid misalignment.
KF: How should we use this bag in everyday situations?
This is quite an eye-catching bag. You will definitely find it useful whether it is for everyday or for a dressed-up outing.

Instructions
1.
Cut the fabric with seams.
2.
Adhere fusible interfacing on the back of the lining fabrics.
3.
With the front sides facing each other, place the zipper in-between and sew together the opening outer and lining fabrics.
4.
Turn over the opening fabric and align the shape using an iron.
5.
With the front sides facing each other, sew together the gusset outer and lining fabrics with the opening zipper fabric in-between.
6.
Turn it over.
7.
With the front sides facing outside, baste the edge of the outer and lining panels to avoid misalignment.
8.
Sew together with the gusset fabric.
9.
Cut the seam for 3mm. Wrap it around with the bias binding tape and hem the seam.
10.
Turn it over and attach the handle of your choice.
