This is a dice-shaped bag with a cute, rounded form. The outer pocket with a gusset is perfect for holding your phone. The addition of a polyethylene core prevents the bag from losing its shape. The featured fabric is [Kuma Kuma] from the kotorinuno series. It is a cotton linen canvas with just the right thickness for making bags.

We interviewed Aiko about her creation:
Kokka Fabric (KF): What did you think of the fabric you used for this project?
The bear, with its plush and gentle look, is drawn in various directions, so it is nice that you can use it without worrying about the orientation of the pattern. With a calm color tone, you can enjoy combining colors when making small accessories and clothes.
KF: Can you tell us any special elements or ideas that you incorporated into this creation?
The handles and buttons are finished with gold hardware to be fitting for grownups to use. The small outer pocket with a gusset is perfect for holding a smart phone. The bag is also made with a combination of cores to prevent it from losing its shape.
KF: What are some tips for making this bag?
If you use a flat iron with no steam holes on the pressing surface, you will get a clean finish without air bubbles when adhering the fusible interfacing.
KF: How should we use this bag in everyday situations?
This bag adds a great accent to a simple outfit. It may look small, but with its wide gusset, it can hold a water bottle, a wallet, a smartphone, and many other things. You can enjoy using it for everyday shopping with a reusable bag inside, or as a bag for children’s outings.
